St. Regis Specialty Box

Client: St. Regis

St. Regis, a high-end real estate developer, provided a rough sketch of what they wanted in a sales promotional piece for a condominium development – it was essentially a shopping bag. The client’s specifications included what material was desirable for the inside and outside, and the placement of the interior elements. Artwork and placement specs for the front cover’s foil stamping was also provided.

The purpose of the product was to contain color and material samples of housing interior design elements, including flooring, cabinet and counter surfaces. Centennial designed a foam block with specific-sized squares and rectangles to securely house the material samples, cut out per St. Regis’ layout request. The carrying weight capacity required for the sales sample box – estimated at 15-20 lbs – was a factor when determining both the heavy-duty box material and the carrying-handle material.

The resulting project is appealing and intriguing. The shopping bag appearance reinforces the idea that choices will be available.
